National Museum of Mongolian History
Exhibits of the museum show the history and culture of Mongols from ages as early as the Stone Age and up to the modern days. Among 15,000 exhibits of the museum are carpet and silk items of the Hun period and leather boots of a Mongolian soldier of that time. There is several halls such as Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient Mongolian Empires, Turkish Period, Great Mongolian Empire, Soviet Era and Democratic Mongolia.

Gandan Tegchilen Monastery
The Tibetan name translates to the “Great Place of Complete Joy”. It currently has over 150 monks in residence. It features a 26.5-meter-high statue of Migjid Janraisig, a Buddhist bodhisattva also known as Avalokitesvara. It came under state protection in 1994. The monastery was established in 1835 by the Fifth Jebtsundamba, then Mongolia’s highest reincarnated lama. It became the principal center of Buddhist learning in Mongolia.

Genghis Squire
In 1921, at the center of Ulaanbaatar, hero of the revolution Damdin Sukhbaatar, announced Mongolian final independence from Qin Dynasty. Sukhbaatar monument on the central squire covered by bronze with joint co-operation between Mongolia and north Korean sculptors. As you see north from the statue, the massive gray house is state parliament building, commonly known as government house. To the north-east modern culture palace, a useful landmark containing the Mongolian national art gallery and other cultural institutions. At the south-east corner of the squire state opera ballet theater. On the north-eastern corner of the squire, the yellow bright long building is the Golomt bank with gray building Mongolian national history museum which includes so many exhibits related to from bronze age till democracy of 1990.

Dinosaur Museum of Mongolia
Mongolia is famous on its dinosaur findings and one of the top 5 countries. First eggs were found from Gobi desert and fighting dinosaurs, Bataar tyrannosaur, Nemegtsaur etc famous exhibits are displayed in Dinosaur Museum of Mongolia. The Natural History Museum
Mongolia is located on the junction of different natural zones, from sough desert from north Siberian black forest, and has distinct nature. The Natural History Museum is home to fauna and flora specimens comprising some 6000 items within five main collections: geology and geography, botany, anthropology, paleontology and zoology. It was founded on 1923.

The Bogd Khan Palace Museum
It was the Mongolian imperial palace from 1893 to the end of the Qing dynasty. It is located in the south of Ulaanbaatar, and now houses the Palace Museum. Since 1926, the Winter Palace has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the King VIII Bogd Zavzandamba.

Zaisan Hill
It is the Soviet War Memorial (Tiergarten) is one of several war memorials in Ulaanbaatar, erected by the Soviet Union to commemorate its war dead, particularly the 80,000 soldiers of the Soviet Armed Forces who died during the Battle of Khalkh Gol in 1939 and 1945. From here it is nice to see panoramic view of the city.

The Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum
The Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum was created in 1965. It will be the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of Buddhism & Mongolian people life, art and culture. The Museum now has more than 20,000 collection items including tank arts and shaman related exhibits and old books etc.

Mandzushir Monastery Ruin
Mandzushir monastery located near by Bogd khaan national park, or to the east from Ulaanbaatar about 43 km where in the forest, at 1800 m above from sea level. First temple of Mandzushir was built in 1733 lead by Luvsanjambaldanzan at the valley of Bogd Khan Mountain. Was becoming popular and famous in the Mongolia in the earlier of 20 century, with over 500 lamas, and complex with 21 big and small temples. Around that time the monastery was called Utai Gumben of Outer Mongolia. When it was time to destroy the monastery after 200 years of its history in 1937, there were total of 21 temples.

Genghis Khaan’s Horse Statue
In total is 40m high from surface erected at about 10 m high foundation and surrounded by columns. It is largest horse-riding statue in the World. Far sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand. The building consisted of 36 supporting columns, symbolizes 36 kings who are direct lineage of Chinggis Khaan.

Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
About 76 km north-east of Ulaanbaatar, is a absolutely popular destination. At 1600m, the area is cool and the alpine scenery is magnificent, and there are great opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, rafting, horse riding and, flying by airplane, cycling, as well as dog sledding, skiing in the depths of winter. Most visited is the turtle rock, other unique rock formation from landscape, and the ariyabal Buddhist temple. And also its location near the birthplace of Mongolians great unifier Chinggis khaan and is third biggest protected area in Mongolia.

Ariyabal Monastery
The temple is situated in the scenic area of Terelj National Park, about 2 km from Turtle Rock. Buddhist Monks performs meditation ritual for many years amongst beautiful and tranquil mountains of Terelj National Park. Later the actual meditation temple was built for the comfort of the monks in the 1990s. Ariyabal meditation temple is surrounded by scenic mountains with interesting rock formations and sits at top of the mountain. The entrance of the gate is accessible by car, hiking or on horseback. The distance between the gate and the actual temple is about 1 km and it is only accessible by walking. To get to the top, you would cross the suspension bridge and climb up on 108 stairs, according to Buddhist prayer beads. This small hike is seen as a ritual to cleanse one’s sins. The temple, when observed from distance, can be seen as a beautiful white elephant and the staircase looks as if the dangling elephant’s trunk. From the top, you can enjoy the breathtaking view overlooking the Terelj National Park.

Hustai National Park
Hustai National Park, one of the well known and prestigious special protected areas in Mongolia. According to the resolution by Mongolian Government, Hustai National Park Trust (hereinafter referred to as Hustai Center) is dealing the management of the Hustai National Park contracting with the Ministry of Nature and Environment. Hustai Center is operating to conserve ecosystems, biodiversity of the park and historical stone monuments, build up takhi population in the wildlife, organize national and international workshop and meetings, in other part, to develop eco tourism and support the local sustainable livelihoods in the buffer zone of the park since it was established in 2003. Unique wild horse Takhi reintroduction project at Hustai National Park started in 1992. As the successful implementation of the project today we have over 220 takhi in the park. Dutch couple Mr. Jan Bouman and Mrs. Inge Bouman and Mongolian well known researcher Tserendeleg Jachin, the first Mongolian scientist who was in expedition to Antarctic initiated this brilliant event.
